How to Count the Words
If your document is in Microsoft® Word® format you can count the words using the Word Count function in Microsoft® Word® "Tool" menu.

Pay by Word or by Page?
Unlike most translation agencies, TRANSLATED charges per word rather than per "standard page". When was the last time you translated a "standard page"? What if you are translating a website or a pictoral travel guide for about vineyards in France? The unit of "standard page" made sense when a typed page was fixed at 25 lines per page and 60 keystrokes per line. But even using this measurement the definition of "standard page" varies from agency to agency and can be anywhere from 1200 to 1800 keystrokes. At TRANSLATED, you pay for only the words you translate.
